TCA is ISO certified Section 8 company. It is a non profit organization. In India, Tea and Coffee vendors in urban and rural areas operate within a highly unorganized sector. Marked by low income, irregular and unstable opportunities, inconsistent quality standards and minimal protection, the vendors lack professionalism, vision and a clear focus to conduct and develop their businesses over time. Often this creates a fine line between their success and failure in their business ventures. TCA was created as a platform as a direct response to counter the innumerable problems specifically encountered by the vendors, the farmers and the tea coffee industry in general. TCA believes that through comradeship and networking, vendors can be empowered, develop a sense of individual responsibility to attain personal and professional success. TCA also helps vendors achieve sustainable solutions in health, education, livelihood via several vocational trainings and skill based programs.
